Who wants to summit Stok Kangri, a 6,240m or 20,473ft mountain? No volunteers in this case so I set out on my own with a two-bit map and a lot of desire. Even though it was September in lovely Ladakh, it was already snowy and cold above 5K meters, plus a glacier added a serious chill to the air. In this episode I leave sunshine and arrive at lower base camp (5,000m or 16,400ft) late and in a snow storm.
