Indonesia is the world’s most volcano centric location. In Sumatra we set out to summit a Sumatra volcano (Mt Merapi, meaning Mountain of Fire ). We set out early in hopes of reach the smoking rim by mid-afternoon but the vertical climb is steep, the jungle is sweltering and Cristina doesn’t feel so enthusiastic any more.
