A planned fast ascent of Langtang’s Tsergo Ri (5,024m) mountain didn’t take into account a fast change in the weather that leaves us lost in a snow storm or a boulder aimed at my head. This is a climb that started with blue skies and devolved to the point that we teetered on the edge of a deadly ending.
