This is part 4 in a series of attempts to summit Corno Grande, the highest mountain in the Italian Apennines range. Two years later I return to find the town at the base of the mountain destroyed by an earthquake. Determined to put this mountain behind me I spend a week fighting the elements and the mountain’s spite.
