Hike El Cubano Park, Trinidad, Cuba, Episode 153

This is a quick overview of our hike in El Cubano Park, outside of Trinidad. It was a self-guided day hike to a number of swimming holes. This post provides logistical details and facts as well as links to a videos. This is a tourist experience on a shoestring (think tiny budget).

We started the next leg of our trip with a ride to Trinidad. Two options, local truck or tourist bus. Once in Trinidad we scouted the beaches and restaurants before heading out for a hike in the El Cubano National Park (located within the NP Topes de Collantes). The beach had beautiful scenery but ultimately, so did this little park full of swimming holes. Green water, waterfalls, caves, walking paths and naturally a restaurant for the tourists. Check it out.
