This is a fast two-day summit of Faxipan, the highest mountain in Vietnam at 3,143m. We set out from the near-by village of Sapa with a guide, a porter, and a minimum allotment of time. The trek takes us through a protected tropical bamboo forested mountain range. And let us not forget that altitude is always a pain for sea level creatures like us.
